Come join Washington D.C. premiere all-women jazz ensemble, led by Shannon Gunn, for a night of new and powerful music.  This is a CD release event and is planned to feature large and small ensemble works written or arranged by members of the Bullettes.  Jessica Boykin-Settles will perform vocals as well as various young and up and coming talents. 

Special treat.!!!!!!!!  Buy your ticket in advance and receive a copy of the new CD "Bullettes and Friends"  at the door.  Straight out of the studio.  It doesn't get much better than that!!!

ELB - CD Release Party(VA)- "Lessons From the Streets"

Nomadic Jazz welcomes saxophonist & composer Elijah Jamal Balbed.  Elijah will be celebrating and performing from his newly released CD for his Virginia fans.

Elijah, a native Washingtonian, was named Best Tenor Saxophonist (2013) by the Washington City Paper.  He has participated in residencies at the Kennedy Center (Betty Carter's Jazz Ahead), Strathmore, and Bohemian Caverns.

Presented as part of Alexandria Live Music Week and the Torpedo Factory Art Center’s Community Partnership program.
